Kininarunote (“this site”) is a personal website run by one writer. This page explains what information is handled when you visit this English section, and which outside services are involved. It is written to match the Japanese site's privacy policy.
What this site collects
This site is made only of static pages. It has no membership system, no comment section, and no input forms of its own. The writer does not collect personal information from visitors by any method of the site's own.
The hosting service that serves this site may keep technical records of access, such as the date and time, IP address, and browser type, as needed to run the service, maintain it, and prevent abuse. The writer does not collect or analyze these records separately.
Cookies, analytics, and your browser
The pages of this section do not currently load an analytics tag of their own, and the site's own scripts do not set cookies.
The site remembers which articles you have read, and what is needed to suggest what to read next, only inside your own browser (browser storage). This is never sent to the writer. You can delete it at any time from your browser's settings.
If we add an analytics tool in the future, we will say so on this page.
Tag pages and the “popular tags” list exist only on the Japanese site, so nothing about them is counted in this English section. How the Japanese site counts tag-page visits is described in its privacy policy (in Japanese).
Advertising
No advertisements are shown in this section at the moment. The site may use the third-party advertising service Google AdSense in the future. If it does, Google and other third-party ad providers may use cookies to show ads based on your past visits to this site and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets Google and its partners show ads based on those visits.
You can turn off personalized advertising in Google's ad settings. You can also choose to opt out of some third-party providers' personalized advertising at aboutads.info. Contact
The contact form is a Google Forms page that opens on Google's site. It is not embedded here. What you enter (for example a name, an email address, and your message) is used only to read your message and to respond to reports of errors or rights concerns, and Google's own privacy policy also applies to it. We keep it only as long as needed to respond, and we do not use it for other purposes or give it to third parties without your consent, except where the law requires it.
